This set of functions associated with management of strings within MS
Excel had not been updated since 2007. This latest version includes some very minor
amendments concerned with posting relative hyperlinks on an Excel worksheet. Relative hyperlinks are those that operate within a
worksheet irrespective of the name on on the worksheet name tab. So the user can copy the
worksheet and rename it. The hyperlink will still guide the user around the new worksheet
as originally intended. |

are very similar - 'TextBeforeNum' and 'TextAfterNum',
One returns N whole word values before the position of a numeric within a string. The
other returns the same value for the words after the number. Its purpose is to allow the

A further worksheet function. 'DelDate_frm_String'
removes all numeric patterns that are or look like (English language) dates from a string
and returns everything that remains. Its purpose is to limit the number of numeric values
