The most important characteristic of the number array is the count of items that it contains.

The number array is a temporary database of all the numbers contained in a string. Accordingly you can use this database to filter out only those numbers that match a specific criterion. The logical approach to this analysis is in three phases. You must find out

• how many items in the array match your criterion
  
• the array position of each matching item
  
• then use the position value to extract the specific data
